The CCGA activitly and enthusiastically accepts applications for membership in the club.

As of the first of April 2006, our membership is small (approximatly 20 members). Thus, we have grown quite rapidly during the year to date. The club itself is made up of all ages and national origins.  We look to increase membership during the second quarter of 2006, thereby ensuring we have a truly successful tournament season.

Benefits of joining:

  *  First, the CCGA is a social sporting club, but we do not compete with other such social, nor national or international golf oranizations. The mission of the club is to accelerate and augment the missions of these institutions, and we look to partner with those that find it mutually beneficial.

  *  The CCGA is a member of the USGA and, thus, is governed by its mandated club rules and regulations. However, our members also maintain their individual memberships in US, UK, Swiss, Swedish, Danish, and many other European golf organizations. This fact helps the CCGA remain aware of current events within and the evolution of these organizations.

  *  Some of the services the CCGA provides include social and sporting environments to meet people, share golf stories (regardless of how true!), and network as desired. We also provide
USGA Handicap Index tracking, which is not a requirement of the members, rather merely a service.

  *  The
annual tournament schedule provides organized events that present the opportunity to play with club members. A majority of the tournament events are handicapped, which simply means everyone has an equal opportunity to play competitively. Trophies are awarded  to tournament winners, and we all typically have fun telling stories, reliving our rounds over and over, and talking about how the next time will be different.

  *  Many other benefits will grow out of club activities, as the club itself grows, as we develop partnerships with other clubs and organizations, and as our members take an active part in the club's future. Most importantly, members have a creative outlet for their most important hobby...
Golf!
