They had 10 children John, Charles, Cornelia, America, John Floyd, Mary, Isabella, Henry , Joseph, and Francis. Ben enlisted October 19, 1861and� died of fever February 2, 1862 ( according to letter written to Winston Stephens Ben died at home February 21, 1862 at 11 PM . He is buried in West View Cemetery But according to His Family he is Buried in the Old City Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fl. Buffalo Bluff was the Hopkins Plantation. He was killed shortly after The Battle of Olustee near Cedar Creek, Duval County,Fl on 3-1-1864.  Tivie and Wins had three children Rosalie, Isabella Gertrude, Winston. GRAY, HENRY ALEXANDER CAPT. �enlisted Oct 61� married Eliza Wadell Brown  4/2/1857(She came to Palatka around 1844 from Columbia S.C.). He was born in Tatnall County, Ga 12/18/26 and died in Palatka 4/5/95. Promoted to 1st Lt. from 2nd in April of 62 then to Capt in March of 1864 when Stephens was killed. MCLEOD, JR. Robert H.� enlisted Nov� 61 married Adaline Lynch 5/14/63. She was the Daughter of Charles G. and Mary Lynch, who owned and operated the St Johns Hotel in Palatka. Robert was born in Ga in 1836 and died of pneumonia� on 4/5/73. Promoted to 3rd Lt May of 62 then 2nd Lt April of 64. He was paroled in Waldo as 1st Lt. BRANNING David Levy Rev.� was born October 29, 1842 in what was then Duval County (present day Clay County ) to George Washington Branning and Mary Ellen Phillips. He married Virginia Budington Nov 15, 1863 in Clay Co. they had 10 Children George, Florence, Irene, Emma, Ester, Lula, Alpha, Levvie, Susan, and Jessie. David enlisted at Tallahassee in Gambles Artillery and was transferred to the Co B 2nd Cavalry in 1863. Was wounded at Olustee and paroled from the Hospital in Lake City where he remained until the close of the War. His pension sates he suffered from Chronic Bronchitis as well as Chronic Pain from Hemorrhoids. Also that he served as minister of W. E.. Church , South for over 40 years and acted as Chaplain throughout the war. DURRANCE, William  Irvan  born between 1825 and 1822 in Lowndes Co, Ga to William Carter and Peggy .Married Lavina Prescott. buried in Yelvington Cemetery. Children Eliza Jane Nancy Rachel George.  While home on furlough he tried to hide from Yankee troops. his wife would not tell them wher he was until the troops threatened to take her son at which point she gave up William. He was captured and taken to a N. prison. William never forgave Lavina and resided w/ the Yelvingtons after the war.

GLISSON W. RILEY� born abt 1830 in Tatnall County, GA. His mothers name was Sarah but his father to me at this time is unknown. I belive he is the first Cousin of Dennis Glisson. He was married to (1) Rachel Driggers abt 1851 in GA and (2) to Ann Gill Oct 26, 1891. He had 9 children James, Macy, Worthy, William, Sarah, Nancy, Mariah, Susan and Elam. He died February 10, 1898 . In 1996 his remains were moved from their former location to Gadara Cemetery, McCrae, Florida. He and his best friend Issac Tyre ahd vowed to be buried by one another so their bodies were re-entered into the ground with re-enactors doing a time period funeral.
