Novel. An autobiographical novel, it tells the story of a boy growing up. It covers the boys early childhood and moves through his teenage years. He starts out living with his father, mother, and sister. His parents divorce and he and his sister live with their mom. He goes to summer camp and eventually to an all boys� school. The novel is told from the boys� perspective and focuses on his inner thoughts. It�s takes place in a time, not so long ago, when society was even more homophobic than today. There is minimal graphic sex.

Most people don�t mind her boyish ways, and nobody knows for sure whether or not she is a lesbian or straight, until a series of events acre that change her families lives forever.
