All Concerned Individuals: The
Phoenix New Haiti Millennium Foundation (PNHMF) is a non-profit organization
comprised of individuals of different backgrounds, views and nationalities,
formed in December, 1998 in the
District of Columbia, USA. The
primary mission of the foundation is assist in the process for HAITIAN NATIONAL
RECONCILIATION. The foundation
intends to fulfill its mission by networking with researchers, governmental
agencies and organizations and using its experience in reconciliation and
exchanging and interpreting information, with the financial support of
participating organizations. The
immediate goal of the foundation is to put the process of the HAITIAN NATIONAL
RECONCILIATION in place by February 7, 2001 in order to avoid a worse political
crisis. This
goal is to be accomplished by: a)
Working with a broad-based coalition of the Haitian civil society
organizations to identify projects for social and economic development b)
Working with the Haitian professional organizations abroad to strengthen
their capability and reinforce their role in the development of Haiti c)
Working with the International Assistance Organizations (IAO’s) to
support the process under the auspices of the National LOMA Committee USA for
Democracy and World One International, LLC, which is developing the
socio-economic projects. Haiti,
having survived nearly two hundred years of independence since 1804, will have
the opportunity to join the era of a new world order, where there is
participation and unity, and the freedom to not be haunted by the past. Additionally,
the HAITIAN RECONCILIATION DAY on February 7th, 2001 will: 1.
Make way for a National Consensus 2.
Revitalize international support The
PNHMF will provide the new list of international observers for this event. Anwar

l’effort de reconstruction nationale. Nous

de la Rencontre
La
Réconciliation Nationale en Haïti permet, dès le 7 février 2001, d’établir
des rapports solides entre les secteurs public et privé. Celle-ci s’avère fructueuse avec la promotion d’un
dialogue national pour un climat politique stable garantissant l’existence
d’un marché ouvert et compétitif.
Cette rencontre, outre les officiels du Conseil National de Salut Public et du
secteur prive haïtiens, rassemble les représentants de la communauté
internationale, des agences multilatérales de financement et des investisseurs
étrangers. L’objectif de cette
rencontre est d’établir les conditions d’un dialogue fructueux et permanent
entre les différents partenaires. Thème
