| Leader Meetings | |||||||||||||||
| The Canandaigua Service Unit holds a monthly leaders meeting in the large conference room at Wood Library. These meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month (except for July and August) and run from 6:30 - 8 pm. Our leaders meetings are our most valuable asset because they keep all troops current on what events are going on in both our Service Unit and Council, and allow for an exchange of ideas on various issues and concerns. We encourage both our leaders and co-leaders to attend, though you may ask one of your troop parents to attend in your place if neither of you can make it. They can report back to you with what was discussed, as well as pick up any materials that were distributed. Through the generosity of some of our Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts, we have childcare available during our meetings at no cost to the adults attending. During this time, the children can do their homework (if necessary), listen to stories, or watch a video (if the tv is available). Snacks and drink are provided. Meetings scheduled at this time are listed below. After the meeting date, you will be able to access that meeting's agenda by clicking on the date. |
