Aneta Kausaite (1996-98)
Aneta Kausaite, a guard for the Lady Hornets
from 1996-98, was the first player from a NCAA Division II school to play in
the WNBA.
During her two seasons at E-State, the
Lady Hornets arrived on the National scene. In 1997, ESU played in it's first
NCAA tournament and in 1998 advanced to the Division II National Title Game.
Aneta was a First-Team Kodak All-American
and MIAA Player of the Year in 1998, leading the Lady Hornets to a 33-1
record.

Emily Bloss
(1997-01)
Emily Bloss, a native of Wellsville, Kan.,
was named the 2001 NCAA Division II Player of the Year by Daktronics and the
Verizon Academic All-American of the Year by CoSIDA. The honor marked the 2nd
straight year a Lady Hornet earned Player of the Year honors.
She is the 2nd leading scorer in ESU history
with 1,915 points and 4th leading rebounder with 823. During her 4 year
career, ESU was 120-10. She played in an ESU record 14 NCAA Tournament games.

Tara Holloway (1996-00)
Tara Holloway, a native of Moundridge, Kan.,
a forward for the Lady Hornets from 1996-2000, was the NCAA Division II Player
of the Year by Daktronics in 2000. She was also 2000 MIAA Player of the Year.
She is the 3rd leading scorer in ESU history
with 1,839 points and 5th leading rebounder with 815. During her 4 year
career, ESU was 111-18, including 91-8 her final 3 years., She played in an
ESU record 14 NCAA Tournament games.
