Bad weather spoils the show
PUNGGOL - After 2 weeks of relatively nice weather, the rain was back in full force on Sunday. The opponents of the day was ironically Tsunami Ravens. 'Tsunamis are large water waves, typically generated by seismic activity, that have historically caused significant damage to coastal communities throughout the world'.
Maybe that was the reason for the torrential rain and thunder which forced the match to be postponed, just after 5 minutes of play. The turn up for this game was extremely high. At least 16 players answered the call as compared to the previous week's game, where only 11 players were present. This cost Club M dearly as the dodos could only manage a 1-1 draw against a much weaker opponent - CUFC.
Despite the bad weather conditions, the dodos decided to brave the rain and thunder to have a fun training session. Club M's next opponent will be Akashi Devils, the only team to which it lost so far. The dodos will have to surpass themselves in order to win this game and thereby, keeping their hopes of winning this league alive.
