After discussion with the players, the management of Club M has decided to withdraw from the Sunsports Champions League following the various incidents encountered by the club during the league games. Club M played just 2 games out of 3 in the league since it made its debut on August 3 against Tomo and recorded a victory and a draw.
In their first game, the 'dodos' were all shocked to see that the referee for the match did not know the rules and regulations of the league, especially the course of action to take when players of the opposite team turned up late by more than 45 minutes. For our second game against BNP Paribas, the match had to be stopped prematurely early in the second half due to the tensed and uncontrollable atmosphere on the field. The referee was not up to the task on that day. Finally, for their third match, the referee did not show up when both Club M and 2 Sir Rangers were eager to start the match. No replacement referee was sent in and all the players were once again deeply disappointed with the League's organisation.
Club M has set its eyes on another amateur football league called the People's Premiere League, which will begin in November. This league is organised by Soulark. Details of this new League are given below.
