Today I saw my favorite OB...Bevilacqua, the only female OB there. She is AWESOME!! She just has the BEST bedside manner, and was asking me how I was feeling, if I felt things were coming close, how big I thought the baby was, etc. She felt and said she thought about 7 1/2 pounds, but of course I know that can be off either way. But the midwife who felt Cam said he was going to be 6 pounds, and that was a few days before he was born!

Anyways, I am now dilated to 2 and haven't effaced anymore...she's still at a -3 station. So a tiny bit of progress. And she stripped my membranes for me! It actually didn't hurt, and I think the OB stripped my membranes last week and didn't tell me, because I felt the same circular motion inside me. But the difference is this time it made me BLEED! Which I think is good news, right? Hopefully! I am having slight cramps, but nothing to write home about. She is hoping I go into labor tonight because she is on call! I hope so, too...especially because I like her so much!

Then she asked me what I thought about elective induction. I told her YES YES YES!! So she said the girl up front who schedules them would call me and tell me a date and time. It's going to be Friday, September 1. Of course I pray I don't go that long, and it stinks they couldn't schedule it sooner, but at least it's an "end" in sight!! Plus I go back to the OB on Monday if I haven't had the baby by then, and I'll get my membranes stripped again. WAHOO! So overall it was a good appt!! I don't think I want any labor vibes though because they seem to backfire on me, LOL! But now I am so much happier and thinking positive!
