Today's appointment was good, even though I am sick with a cold....but I have a question. Am I alive?!?! My blood pressure was 80/62 today! I've never had my systolic be that low...the lowest it's been is 90. My diastolic is low, but not deathly low! Ahh...I don't care...my blood pressure is kicking butt, so I'm happy!

I gained 4 pounds since 3 weeks ago =( Guess I made up for not eating on my birthday Saturday! LOL I actually didn't pig out at all yesterday, but oh well. I wore my heavy sandals today, so I'll blame it on that ;) So what does that make my total weight gain then? I think about 15 pounds or so. I know that Courtney has had a growth spurt in the past few weeks though...I just feel heavier down there, and also, I have finally caught up on my measurements. I measured 30 weeks today (consistent with their due date of Sept. 3 for me), whereas 3 weeks ago I was measuring 25-26 weeks. With Cam, I always measured 2 weeks behind, too.

Baby's heartrate was good! He listened with like a regular stethoscope thingie, and then used the Doppler...it seems slow again...probably in the 130's or 140's. The OB said that she doesn't have a cold, LOL! I wonder if they can catch colds in utero??

Anyways, he gave me a list of meds I can take during pregnancy...it's got the ailment, like "diarrhea" or "cold/flu", and then the meds next to them that you can use to treat them that are safe. The OB told me to drink lots of fluids, and lots of hot beverages and citrus drinks, and to rest as much as I can, since I am sick and on the verge of getting bronchitis. I am pretty sure I'll get bronchitis...last year at this same time I had it. Anyways, he said that if I think I have bronchitis, to just call and he'll call me in a prescription for antibiotics for me! That's cool that he trusts me to not have to see me to diagnose me, ya know?

Courtney is head down! He felt all around, pushing down hard and stuff, and I asked him, and he said "Oh yeah...she's definitely head down!" So I don't know if that means she has a hard head or she's starting to engage!

That is about it for today's appointment!! Now I start going every 2 weeks...gettin' close!
