What Wonderful Sights to See

She crawls into the sunlight
Bubbling with merry glee
At all the wonderful sights
She is destined to see

Butterflies on daisies
Caterpillars on leaves
Squirrels nibbling pine cones
Oh, what wonderful sights to see

As she crawls among the flowers
Which drip with morning dew
She goes straight through a puddle
And laughs a cheerful coo

She crawls along the walkway
And scrapes her chubby knee
But continues onward to the lawn
To see what she can see

Ladybugs on tulips
Dragonflies on lilies
Robins in the birdbath
Oh, what wonderful sights to see

She crawls onto the lawn
And picks a perfect place
Then with a mighty yawn
She lies down in her space

She shuts her tired eyes
And counts the jumping sheep
One, two, three, four, five
And falls fast asleep

Hummingbirds at feeders
Bumblebees on ivy
Little chicks chirping
Oh, what wonderful sights to see
