And she's so special she gets her own colour scheme
She helped me when I thought I could not get help nor find anyone that could understand me or that I could open up to. I am not a talker, I am a writer but haven't been a talker for many years, but some how with her I do talk, she knows more about me than anyone else ever has or ever will I'm sure. She helped me find myself and since has helped me like myself and show myself to others. Before I used to have the occasional good day where my happiness wasn't just a facade and now I only have the occasional bad day but even they don't last long as I turn to her, one way or the other, and she gets me through. As I hope I have been able to do for her.
There have been a number of things that she has taught me in these few months and for that I will forever be grateful. She has affected my life like no other and nothing ever has. And if for no other reason she will always be in my heart for how she has helped me see myself and my worth, how loving her has shown me that you have to set aside your fears to let love in and that no matter what happens if love is true nothing will change it. Also, due in part to her, I have learned that I have to be myself and can't let the thought of what others will think stop me from living my life. But I know that she will forever stay in my heart for many more reasons than just what she has done for me. She will continue as the one to hold my heart in her hands because I can't think of my life without her in it, because I never thought I could love someone the way that I love her and I will fight everyday to keep her with me and our love strong. She is my soulmate, she is my opposite and my twin. She is my everything.
As my dragon gurl and I face a daily challenge within our relationship (she doesn't quite live just down the street) I have come to see first hand what real love is based on. To really, truly love someone you have to love their mind and their heart, for it is these things that make a person who they are. It is not appearance, it is not successes or failures, it's not who they are related to or who they know, and it most certainly isn't what they have in their bank account. It is the person within and I am continually amazed by the person that she is and that she can love me...How did this angel manage to fall to earth unnoticed and land within my grasp? I shall not ask too loudly as the mistake may be noticed and corrected, devastating my entire world.
Lisa you are my life. You are the only life that I ever want, ask me tomorrow, ask me again next week, ask me again in sixty years and I will be telling you the same thing. I love you with all my heart, truly, madly, deeply.
