Welcome to my homepage!
Most personal homepages on the internet are the first sites their owners
created and worked on. For me the situation had evolved a little different. This
homepage is the second page I created, after I had the opportunity to practise
on a more study-related site for medical students at my university in The
Netherlands. If you are interested to find out more about this particular site

Still this more indepth introduction to website-design triggered me to create
my own pages. But of course that is easier said than done, because what was I
going to focus my personal site on then? Besides, one website does not make one
an expert.
I have a great variety of interests. As a medical student with an orientation
towards international health, I do a lot of travelling, make many
friends along
the way, educate myself in various topics whenever I get the opportunity and
always seek for new areas to learn from. This created a difficulty of singling
out one topic to focus on for my personal site.
And than it struck me. Since I seem to perceive this homepage as a personal
site, why not make it personal and present anything I fancy interesting for
other people?
