What makes a person interesting is to know what he is interested
in himself. At least that is my personal view. I think I could fairly say that a
person's character is partially formed by what he learns from his interests. The
things he learns add to his believes, believes that are an integral part of who
he is. And who he is, can be interesting to others. Or am I wrong?
Before I become too philosophical, I will introduce you to my
interests. And I think that with a little background about
me, you may understand these interests a little bit more. On the other hand,
is it important to understand the choice of interest? Maybe...
But what is an interest? Is it that you are intrigued by
something and would like to know more about it? Or is it only an interest
when you actually spent the time and energy satisfying your curiosity.
Either way. These are my interests.
 | Anthropology
After I finished my
fourth year in medical school I needed a break. I needed to focus on
something different from the illnesses of the human body. Coming across a
Minor studies in Medical Antropology definitely enriched my life.

Medicine
Being a major part
of my life, of course medicine has my interest. It has been the case
since I was seven years of age. My first short essay in elementary
school needed to be on "What I wanted to become, when I get older."And
I can only say that I persued this dream, still am actually.

Art
Although I mostly have
a hard time memorizing the names of the artist and his piece, I can
not help but admit that I truely enjoy art. Spending hours on end in
a museum or gallery is one of my most favorite activities.

Travel
I
truly believe that I am to become what we call in the Netherlands a
"globetrotter". I have no idea if this phrase is familiar
to you. All I can say is that holiday for me means being in a place
that is not familiar to me. Unfortunately up till now, travelling
for me did not always mean what I would like it to.

Books & Music
Last
but not least, by far...whenever I get the opportunity I take up a
book to read. A particular genre? No not necessarily it just has to
catch my eye, and I will read it or at least start. And with music
it is practically the same, it should suite my ear, and that is not
very difficult.
