About Us

This CD-ROM was produced as part of an assignment to develop a series of client educational sessions. The information contained within has been developed using various sources, please refer to the references page for full listing. The intent of this program is to provide the viewer with educational information regarding Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). It is a teaching tool intended to allow the individual to explore for one’s self the available sources of information and to provide a stepping stone to making contacts with organizations or groups.

While realizing that SLE is a chronic disease, we believe that by providing the tools to access information the individual can be empowered to manage one’s life and allow for fulfilment of personal goals. Please contact your own doctor regarding specific personal medical questions or concerns.
