In our own self-sufficiency, we often miss out on experiencing the full strength of God. Sometimes in life, we need to go through real pain and hardships before we become fully dependent upon our Lord.
Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
2 Corinthians 12:9,10 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
1 John 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one does not touch him.
The Power of God is very real and so are the forces of Darkness, Satan. Whenever you have voices in your head contradicting God's Word or horrific nightmares --whatever the attack-- maybe you need to pray aloud. Also, good Christian music is great to have filtering throughout your home.
A prayer of renunciation and affirmation said aloud 3 times daily if necessary or when attacked will often break the occult bondage or bring it to a head so it can be dealt with.
