Pousada da Ilha
This hostel in Enseada, run by very friendly people,  cost about one fifth of the cost of staying at the Carima at Foz do Iguacu, and it was just as clean. To me, as long as somewhere is clean and dry, it is fine. If they provide good meals as well then that is a desirable bonus. It is also wonderfully close to the beach.
The two pictures below are:
a) A view from one of the balconies in the Pousada Da Ilha, b) A view in the exact opposite direction, showing the hostel itself.
The people who ran the hostel were very friendly, we spent one evening with them, eating seafood and singing with a Karaoke machine.
The hostel provides breakfast as part of the package, and they were excellent! Far better in fact than the standard fare offered in so many budget hotels and hostels.
Down on the ground floor can be found "Peppe Legal" where drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.
Right:
A view of the north end of Praia Grande, from the hostel.
Pity December 17th  was such an overcast day!
Left:
No prizes for working out which building is Pousada Da Ilha!
In the foreground is a small children's play area. (It is also visible in the picture above, just above the tree.)
