| Many of us transgerdered girls go through alot of pain, and hardship over our religious beliefs. I for one am no different. For years I labored under the delusion that my cross dressing was deviant, and wrong . I now however believe that this is not the case. One of the reasons for this is because of the scientific evidence pointing to the fact that our brains tend to be formed more like that of genetic woman. The thought behind this is that before we were born the flood of hormones that decides our biological sex was miss timed,and because of this our brains were formed opposite of our biological sex. If this is the case we are only doing what comes natural to women. |
| With that said I believe you can still be transgendered and still be a Christian. For one thing this happened before I was born, and would be no different then any other birth defect. All we are doing is to correct our boddies to match our brains. In fact this is not much different then people who are born with out the ability to smile ,and have it corrected by surgury. As far as GOD goes GOD doesn't look at the outward appearance, but the inward appearance. In fact the only place in the bible that talks about cross dressing is Deuteronomy 22:5 which states." A woman shall not wear any thing that pertains to a man,nor shall a man put on a womans garment ,for all who do so are an abomination to the lord our GOD". Sounds bad for us doesn't it! Many people believe that this was miss translated and realy meant that the jewish men and women wear prayers around their necks prayers for men ,and prayers for women. Others believe that this meant women couldn't put on armour or yeild the sword to go to war. Still others believe this was a comand to set the jews apart from the pagan rituals of the time that included cross dressing. My beliefe is that JESUS died for our sins and washed our sins away. I also believe that it is wrong to judge others especialy when no one is perfect. So if you are a Christian and are reading this I must tell you more things are wrote with prayer than we will ever know. Take this piece of advice ,and put your life in GODS hands. | Being a Christian is the most important part of my life. It is not a subject that I take lightly. In my life I had many ups and downs. One of them just happens to be GID . At times I had prayed endless to rid myself of gender problems.Then one day I left it in GODS hand's. All I can say is that it was the best decision I ever made. It is still hard to see where I'm headed , but I am sure that GOD is there to help us when we are down. |
