| You are about to create a character using our profile wizard. Before you do so, there are a few things you should think about. Keep in mind that these are guidelines, not rules, so you're free to disregard them if you so choose. First, Mary Sue characters are boring. A Mary SUe is a character who is perfect in every way. Maybe s/he has one small flaw, or a non-slaw, such as he "he's almost TOO handsome" or resemble real people, imperfect in apperance and personality, are much more likeable and much more fun to play. Trust me. Second, when creating your profile, watch your spelling and grammar. This may seem pointless, but remember, your profile is the first impression many people will get of your character. Would you want to RP with a charcter who's "very stuborn but nice anl yshy untl you get too no her and i am also nicce"? How about a character whit "blu eys and long strate har"? You don't need to write like Tamora Pierce, byt try not to write like a five-year-old. Last of all, make sure that your profile says something about your chacter. If you write your characters name, age and geneder and have a personality summary like "nice and likeable, has a lot of friends but can sometimes be shy", there's nothing to drag people in. That personality description could probably describe 2 billion poepl on Earth. Make your chraacter an intersting, substantial person. So: imperfect characters, desribed in-depth, with proper grammer, spelling, capitlzation and punctuation. Can you handle this? I think so. SO what are you waiting for? Create a character! P.S. DON'T FORGET YOUR E-MAIL ADRESS! Our wizard cannot automaticaly fill that portion in for you, it's up to you to let us know who are so we can get in touch with you. |
