What’s new in the zoo?? Seems like there’s always something. Right? Folks are always saying there aren’t enough hours in the day. Well, I say, I’m glad there aren’t, ‘cause I’d fill them up too and then I’d really be exhausted! Anyway, in an effort to simplify everyone’s life, we are yet again changing hats (or colors or complexions or plans, whatever). Are you surprised? Here’s the plan…. Monthly meetings have been adjourned. If you just want to chat and be encouraged and have fellowship AND drink coffee, It looks like we will meet at 7:00 pm the third Thursday of each month at the Guances Deli on the Bypass just before you get to K-Mart (that is if you are coming from exit 94 on 64 other wise it will be just after naturally). Check our CKHSA news page to see if any changes are made each month. Don’t get too excited. We’re still going to have graduation, Achievement night, hopefully a field day (if we can get some BIG help) and Lord willing we’ll even Christmas carol. Our goal is to stay in communication with each other (to be able to circle up the wagons if necessary – see Dave or read a little about it below), to support KHEA (they’re doing an excellent job and we like them looking out for us in Frankfort), and of course to support one another. What we don’t want is to clutter up your life with meetings no one has time for. On the other hand… a nice cup of java and an evening out with friends. See ya’ then.
