Introduction
This page gives some guidelines for dosing quercetin and spirulina with their co-factors. Use both in consultation with your doctor. The combination of quercetin and spirulina with their co-factors is used to treat both HIV (AIDS) and Cancer. For HIV only a patient continues to use their current HIV drug combination. For Cancer no other drugs are necessary.
My experience is that when a CK2 Inhibitor is dosed with current HIV drugs, typically viral load becomes very low if not undetectable and consistent increases in T4 cell count of approx. 150-200/month can be achieved with usually no extra toxicity (aside from the existing HIV drugs). This assumes consistent optimal dosing and no "drug holidays". Reduction in viral load to undetectable (< 50) depends on degree of viral resistance to current HIV drug combination. Your doctor may have access to more accurate data from the accumulated experience of other people.
CK2 Inhibitors require a new way of thinking. Many of the "old" rules for HIV drugs no longer apply! This may take some time to adjust to. It is important to remember that HIV cannot develop resistance to CK2 Inhibitors, so dosing is very flexible. There is also much less problem with HIV resistance to the current HIV drugs.
To obtain very good inhibition of protein kinase CK2, both quercetin and spirulina should be used together with their co-factors. For HIV (AIDS)quercetin and spirulina with their co-factors must be used in combination with existing HIV drugs. Quercetin imhibits the alpha' catalytic sub-unit of CK2 and spirulan imhibits the alpha catalytic sub-unit of protein kinase CK2. Refer Discussion section of this web site.
The following sections apply to BOTH quercetin and spirulina and probably CK2 Inhibitors in general.
Current HIV Drugs
The following section details my previous recommendation that CK2 inhibitors be combined with existing HIV drugs. I now contend that in fact when both quercetin and spirulina are used with their co-factors as recommended in the relevant sections the inhibition of CK2 is so good, that it is not in fact necessary to also use the existing HIV drugs (R.T. inhibitors) in combination. This should be verified. Until my contention is verified the following section should be followed.
These drugs should only be used by people who have HIV (AIDS). People with Cancer should not use the following drugs.
Abbreviation:
R.T. - reverse transcriptase.
A CK2 Inhibitor should be combined with an R.T. inhibitor combination only. Abandon any protease inhibitors.
It MAY be possible to use an R.T. combination with fewer drugs e.g. combivir, for someone who is treatment naive. It MAY even be possible to use a single drug, e.g. AZT.
R.T. Inhibitors:
AZT, DDI, 3TC, D4T, Abacavir, Efavirenz, Nevirapine, Delavirdine,
Tenofovir, Combivir, Trizivir.
Protease inhibitors: Indinivir, Ritonivir, Saquinivir, Amprenavir, Lopinavir,
Nelfinavir
Side Effects
The main side-effect of quercetin
and spirulina and CK2 Inhibitors in general
is severe constipation, which must be treated.
One treatment program for constipation
is a combination of psyllium, 1 gram of the niacinamide or nicotinamide form of vitamin B3, 8 chromium picolinate and omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids (two tablespoons flax seed oil per day). These must all be taken once a day after a meal. Epeleptics must not use Flax seed oil, they can only use fish oil.
If all else fails, the "mechanical solution" - an enema will almost
certainly work. Enema kits are available at pharmacies (drug stores).
I believe this is an acceptable inconvenience since such good results can be
obtained in a fairly short period of time. There are some good instructions on
the following web site:
Enema Tips
During the day there is a slight stimulant effect.
In Conclusion
Quercetin and spirulina are obviously not products that have been developed and extensively tested
by a big drug company. This is an extremely unusual situation. Nevertheless the
science is very solid and sophisticated. There is not an ironclad guarantee here,
but you can find out within two weeks to a month whether this works for you. Because HIV cannot develop resistance to
CK2 Inhibitors, these drugs never fail. T-cell counts just keep going up. If you've got any kind of viral load, you'll probably
notice the sweating in the armpits within a day or two. Ideally to test if quercetin
or spirulina works for you, your existing HIV
drugs should not be changed, except to drop protease inhibitors.
If you are using quercetin and spirulina for Cancer, visible shrinking of Cancer should occur within a week. You will also find that the pain of cancer, almost completely disappears in half to one hour after dosing.
Super Health
For fast and healthy recovery from the serious illnesses of AIDS and Cancer a super micro-nutrient program is very helpful. See the article "Optimum Nutrition" in the Editorial of this web site.
