Cid is a tough-talking,warm hearted old pilot who hasn't forgotten his dreams.There's no better pilot by air or sea.He believes someday he'll fly to the ends of the universe.With his handmade spear and knowledge of machinery,he throws himself into any attack regardless of the danger.

Cid is a great pilot and mechanic and because of ShinRa he was able to learn to fly.He holds a deep respect for science.Because of Cid you get the Tiny Bronco which allows you to travel up rivers and through shallow waters.Later on you get his airship,"Highwind".So I suppose we should thank Cid and then thank the ShinRa for making the modifications to make it go faster.You get Cid the first time you visit Rocket Town.He gets nominated as the new leader when Cloud leaves and at first he isnt too happy about it.When you get Cloud back the only time you have to use Cid is when you go yo Rocket Town on disk 2 to get the large materia.Oh and the code for the rocket is circle,square,x,x

Limit Level 2:
Hyper Jump- uses spear to attack all enemies,sometimes causes death
Dragon-Steals hp amd mp from one enemy

Limit Level 3:
Dragon Dive-attacks all enemies
Big Brawl-gets into a huge brawl with all enemies

Limit Level 4:
Highwind-pages the aorship to do massive damage

To get Highwind you must go to the sunken Gelnika plane when you get the submarine.It is near Costa Del Sol there is a small cove type thing that you can see above the water,once their go into the water and you should be at the Sunken Gelnika.You can go there after you sink the ShinRa Leader Sub,but you can skip it and go there later.However if you go there right after you will meet Reno and Rude in the hallway and they will fight you.After you have beaten them continue through the hall and you will enter a cargo room.The "Highwind" Manual is in a box in the bottom left hand corner. When Cid learns Big Brawl you can teach him Highwind.
