My Crew The beautiful Orchid Circuit is situated in an apartment in the sprawling suburb of Ampang  --  about 15 - 60 minutes' drive from the Kuala Lumpur city centre (of course this depends entirely on the time of the day that you're driving, of course).

Recognised as one of the most unique in the world, the Orchid Circuit is designed in such a way as to resemble a giant wheelbarrow with elongated wheels, as shown in the diagram below:

The Orchid Circuit provides the best of cat car racing for both drivers and spectators alike, where the grandstand (which sits 3 comfortably, 6 uncomfortably) gives a great view of the whole circuit.

At the end of the Sink Straight, I will reach around 2 kph before braking lightly for the Toaster Turn.  The turn is rather narrow, allowing only one car to pass through at one time, so it's very important to get ahead of the pack at the end of the Sink Straight.

After the Toaster Turn, the track widens again and from here it's just a straight run down the Shoe Rack Straight before slowing down again to take the corner at PC Point.   As with the Toaster Turn, the entry into the first oval is narrow, so again, speed is essential down the Shoerack Straight.

On gaining entry into the first oval,  I will accelerate to two kph, and it's a little tricky to maintain the speed as the slightest mistake may cause you to spin off the track,  especially as I go around the bottom of the track, at Bookcase Brakepoint. And from there, it's a fairly straight forward drive back to PC Point for the straight run down the CD Rack Run.

The CD Rack Run brings me into the second oval track at high speed past the grandstand and into Balcony Break point corner, where a fatal mistake may send me down four floors into the parking lot below. After that, it's an easy run past the Idiot Box into the final corner and straight home across the finish line.
