Profile:

Jotan and Meryl were orphans for as long as they could remember. She only has memories of her brother accompanying her when they begged at the streets in the towns of Kelsa. A pair of strangers took pity on them and took them in as their god-children. These two compassion people became their god-parents, and they sent Meryl to Sion

Since young, Meryl has been with the Melnian Mystics. Her brother visits her during his vacations. About 8 years ago, she met Barguz in Sion and fell in love with him. Sadly, one year later, she was taken hostage by an assassin attempting to kill the Great Exalted Mother. She suffered a wound and was later turned into an undead by Assenkay.

Although Meryl was turned undead at the age of 15, her body underwent a change during her evolution and developed into her current form. Although undead usually remained in the form at which they were evolved to the state of undead, Meryl's body and mind continued to change as time passed, growing more powerful and more insane as time passed.

She likes to use her femininity to charm others into giving in to her, but this does not work on either Cyfferion or Assenkay most of the time. She had a morbid fascination with corpses and likes to experiment on them. Although undead usually tend not to be affected by changes in hormonal levels, Meryl undergoes mood swings. She is also very fascinated by the human body, in particular the male gender.
