    Jolyn was trained by her bosom friend, the Great Exalted Mother in weather-alteration. She is the only Mystic ever to learn such a skill. And no wonder, because weather-alteration is very advanced-level magic. She is also the Dean of Studies for the Melnian Mystics and as a close friend to the Great Exalted Mother, is often tasked to carry out some secret missions for her.

    She is married to Ghirvin and though they have had no known children, they did adopted a couple of orphans as their god-children, Jotan and Meryl. As Dean of Studies, her magic is second only to the Great Exalted Mother. She also enjoys using experimental magic, for example, the spell she cast on her hair causes it to change according to her mood. Student Mystics know to avoid her when her hair turns white.
