What it actually stands for: Music Ministry, the ministry in charge of music in the Catholic Students' Society.

In the story, it stands for: Melnian Mystics

- founded by the Great Exalted Mother to train girls to become Mystics, mainly to defend the world against the undead.

- after graduation, most Mystics remain on Sion and form the Mystic army. Some, however, choose to live among civilians in Melnir and Kelsa, lending aid with their magical knowledge where possible.
