Profile:

    Assenkay was the second powerful undead that was created by the Lich Skull Master. He has been placed in charge of the undead army loyal only to his creator. He is the most powerful undead other than the Lich Skull Master himself and has been tasked with maintaining a war between Melnir and Kelsa. He was the one who turned Meryl Valentino into an undead.

    In combat, he can create duplicates of himself to fight for him, but these are ethereal and disappear the moment they take damage. Assenkay usually uses throwing knives to fight, but is an expert on melee combat as well, using a samurai sword for close combat.

    Many years ago, he conducted an experiment to multiply himself, but the experiment went out of control and numerous duplicates of himself sprouted. That was when he met the D.O.M. for the first time, who appeared to slay all his spawn.

    Although Meryl is his creation, the two of them have little in common, aside from their love for blood. While Meryl prefers torture and suffering, Assenkay chooses to end the life of his opponent in the quickest and bloodiest way possible. He retains the samurai's honour he had when he was alive. His one love in his life is the sword he carries, which he treasures above all else except for his allegiance to the Lich Skull Master.

    There is another undead, however, who although was less powerful than he at the time of his creation, was given the title of First Undead.
