| Dedication |
| This is the dedication page in memory of my previous pet bird Zitrone. He was so named because he was yellow like a lemon (Zitrone is German for "lemon"). He was a mutation of cockatiel known as pearl lutino. I had had him since he was real young and he turned out to be a very tame and friendly little bird. Unfortunately, he had a genetic disorder associated with the mutation that caused his liver and kidneys to fail. He died in January 2002. |

| Note: Though I refer to Zitrone as a "he," I did not find out until after he died that Ztrone was actually a female. Even my veterinarian thought it was a male until he performed the necropsy. |
