| Tips for Entertaining: 1.) Plan ahead. Most people have their weekends throughout the holiday booked up far in advance. 2.) Send out personalized invitations. 3.) Keep cocoa, tea, egg nog, cheeseballs, crackers, and goodies on hand for that unexpected guest. 4.) Light candles... they just add to the warmth and scents of the season. 5.) When attending a party, bring along a gift for the hostess (see ideas under the gift ideas section). 6.) Hang mistletoe by a red ribbon, in your front doorway. 7.) Play festive Christmas tunes (see below for some great bets). 8.) Have a great family Christmas movie on hand for your smaller guests. |

| Host an old-fashioned trim-a-tree party! Pop a big bowl of popcorn Get a needle and thread and create a festive garland to go around your tree Serve hot cocoa or egg nog Serve light hors d'oeuvres. Bake Gingerbread cookies and let the kids decorate them (see recipe). Play Christmas music (see below), or put in a Christmas movie...
