| Host a childrens's Christmas Party! >Invite 'ole St. Nick himself! >Prior to the party, ask for volunteers to portray Santa's helpers...(cute elf hats available at Oriental Trading ~ we provided a link below) >Park Santa's 'sleigh' filled with presents at the doorway--(just wrap big empty boxes in foil wrap and big bows...) >Decorate a big Christmas Tree next to Santa for a nice background for the photos... >Have children get in line and sit on Santa's lap to tell him what they want for Christmas... >Supply Santa with a basket of candy canes to hand out to each child as they leave his lap. >Take instant photos to give to each child. Purchase a blank greeting card value pack and use Christmas rubber stamps or stickers to decorate the cards. Next take photos with an Izone camera with sticker film and stick photo on the card for the child. >Serve decorated sugar cookies and punch or hot cocoa... |

Have a snowman contest! Divide the children into "fair" groups and time them to see who creates the best snowman.. You could have each child bring something specific to adorn the snowman. ie: "please bring a hat for Frosty" or an old pipe, or a carrot, or a scarf.... |
