Nice to meet you!

My name is Christine . I used to be a chemical engineer in Zhongshan, Canton , China. Now I'm living in Vancouver, Canada and still looking for a suitable job. Vancouver is a nice city to live in but the labor market is tough. Anyway, I enjoy my life in Vancouver so far, later I will try to share some beautiful scenery around Vancouver with you.

My hobbies are traveling, reading, surfing on internet and watching TV ... . I enjoy learning new things,  especially keen in different cultures and languages. I hope I have the opportunity to go back to college again for a major which can gives me chance to get a job easily when I travel in different countries so that I am able to experience cultures and learning languages during my work. It seems like a dream to have a job like this -- be able to make my dream of travelling come true without giving up my career. Anyway, I'm still trying my best to work it out. If you have any good idea, please let me know if you don't mind sharing.

I have a wonderful family, included grandmother, father, mother , two brothers , elder sister-in-law , nephew , and niece.  They all live together in a small town called Xiaolan in Zhongshan.

My favorite countries are China , Canada, US, and most countries in Europe.
My favorite cities in China are ZhongShan, ShangHai, and BeiJing.

My favorite foods are all kinds of fruits, seafoods, chocolate, ice-cream, Chinese dishes , especially Cantonese cuisine.

I love my family although I am living far away from them at this moment. They are so kind and always there for me wherever and whenever I need them. The person I love most is my grandfather.

My favorite readings include poetry, prose, prose poem, detective story, and all kinds of short but meaningful stories, especially the humorous story.

My favorite poets are SuDongPo, LiBai, Tagore...
My favorite writers are BingXin, FengZiKai, ZhuZiQing...

My favorite movie stars are Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable,Tom Cruise, Anita Yuan(HK)...

My favorite movies are "Waterloo bridge", "Roman Holiday" ,"Gone with the Wind"...

My favorite singers are Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, Faye Wong(HK)...

One of my dreams is to travel around the world , the other is ... . :-)
