Christian Explorer Ministries is a concept developed to promote charity, service, faith, and communications between all people who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in The Holy Bible. Our perspective is rather unique to these principals in that we find these works to be an exciting, adventurous, entertaining, but most importantly, fulfilling path to living a life of service to The King of Kings. It is our experience that being a servant to the Lord is far more living life to its fullest than anything else we could ever have dreamed of doing. It is with this energy and this perspective that delights us to share in the experience through this web site and through our future Internet portal.

So what does all this mean in a more conventional view? Well first, what we are trying to achieve is to build a ministry that has both a traveling element and a central, permanent base of operations. Through the permanent base of operations, we intend to build the supporting technology, services, and administration that will maintain the ministry. The Internet portion of the ministry is NOT the ends, but only a means allowing established churches, Christian organizations, and the public access to the mobile element of the ministry. The mobile element of the ministry is the true front-end of the ministry and the true face of the organization. Through the mobile ministry, we will be working as a traveling witness of The Holy Spirit by performing acts of charity and mercy, fellowshipping with denominations from all different branches of churches, and bringing inspirational, motivational, and uplifting messages through this site.

How do we intend on doing this, you may ask? What we intend to do is launch a specially equipped and modified vehicle into North America to travel through a broad range of communities, focusing on primarily rural areas, but occasionally journeying through cities and major metropolitan areas. The vehicle will be equipped with everything necessary to be assistive to individuals and organizations in a variety of different roles. The most public role the vehicle will be used for is as we travel and fellowship with other ministries, we will share their joys and triumphs, and their faith and expression here on this web site. In a much less public manner, yet comprising a significantly greater portion of the ministry will be our works in charity and service. Frankly, we feel that works of charity and service should be humble acts, not publicly featured or displayed like the Pharisees of old. Charity and service is a way of life, a way of being, and a way of perceiving our mission in life. We will NOT be showing images of the homeless and needy, or those whom we have assisted here on this site. Though working with people in need is our primary mission, our focus in fellowship is an uplifting and inspirational message. We may from time to time feature organizations or missions performing similar works of the Lord, but our perspective in doing such will always be to witness to the wonderful works of The Holy Spirit in our contemporary world.

We do plan to do something truly unique and different with this Internet project, providing a virtual and frequently live and real-time link through the web site to the mobile ministry. Through this link, we hope to share the beauty and ministry of the Bible by providing live and interesting web-casts of different Christian events sponsored by local ministries, lectures and sermons performed in actual churches across the country, and provide open communications with congregations wherever we go. The project is ambitious and requires some very special technology, but we feel the blessings of this fellowship will be great.

When are we going to begin this? Simply put, we will begin this once the funding allows us to. At this point, we are not actively seeking funding, however in the near future, once we've achieved IRS Section 501 (c) (3) of the United States Taxation Code, we'll have all appropriate licensing and operational documents to handle begin handling this project properly.

So where are we at now? At this point in time, we are still so in the foundation stages that our goal is to simply provide a static web site for the purpose of making public our goals, collecting our thoughts and ideas, and opening the project for others to give input and share their thoughts and ideas with us. We would honestly enjoy hearing from you and getting your comments and feedback. For the moment and due to the lack of technology available to us because of our current financial status (the people starting this ministry are struggling to make ends meet ourselves), we ask that if you feel led to give us feedback or share an idea, please use the "Guestbook" available on this site or e-mail us directly at [email protected] and we will be happy to discuss the project.

As a final note here, one of the key things we believe will contribute to our success will be for us to be as open, honest, and forward with the project as possible. In that spirit, we are making all of this early stage of the project publicly available along with all the good stuff and all the bad stuff that happens as we move this project from conception to fruition. We hope that by doing so, you can share with us the joys and inspirations that we know will occur as we struggle to become a real ministry. The faith we have in the Lord on this mission is beyond doubt. We feel that we have been called to this task and that in the Lord's amazing grace and to His wonder, anything that is His will is possible. Having spent considerable time in prayer, devotion, and research, we have that peace of spirit only obeying the Lord can bring.

Enjoy the site, it is only the tip of our devotion to His service. It would be our pleasure to have you become involved, take interest, and let us know your feelings about any aspect of the ministry as we put it together. We are always open to great ideas and will devote an effort and prayer to any feedback we get. The best way for us to paint a picture of our vision for this ministry is to try and paint that picture through words and discussions right now.
