Final Fantasy X-2 has just been released in Japan. And what does this mean? Well, firtsly it means that..I'm really jealous. Secondary, it means that we now have tons of infomation about it! FFX-2 follows Yuna after the her massive battle with Sin. The final battles price and the dramatic changes made to the world lead Yuna to a personal crossroads. She struggles to get to grip with everything thats happens, and this makes her become better friends with Rikku and becomes more fun, outgoing and..well, you can tell by her new look. In the wake of the battle with Sin, people called 'Sphere hunters' have emerged all over Spira and are searching for special spheres that have been scattered around the globe, similar to Jecht spheres. They contain movies of the past of Spira. Yuna and Rikku are in a group of Sphere hunters, called the 'Kamome Clan'. A new face, Paine is alos a member and is very good with the Al Bhed language. But there is a rival clan called the 'LeBlanc Gang' who are very competative and want the spheres too. Sphere hunting is the main focus of the game, and Yuna finds out that her former guardian, Tidus is in trouble and she must use the spheres to help him. No doubt it'll then turn into a big adventure full of bosses, minigames and monsters. Unlike FFX, FFX-2 is much more mission-based. This lets you see missions to do on the world map, ranging from collecting a sphere to fighting bad guys. There will also be a little traditional platforming involved such as jumping onto ledges and climbing. The missions are a huge part of the game as a lot of them are needed to be completed to progress in the game, however others may just be side quests. FFX-2 blends several elements from the previous games into one package, as well as offering something completely new. One of the main and most fun aspects of this game is that the girls can change costumes in the midst of battle to give them different powers and so on. This could proove to be a very fun and rewarding part of the game, even for guys.lol. (screens from FFX) Here are the three main characters in FFX-2. | Here is the teaser box/poster for FFX-2. As you can see, Yunas on the frount, armed with a ...gun? And hey, shes grown her hair into a long cool-looking braid! In the background you can see two figures who are Paine (a new character) and Rikku. The whole bluey, watery effect looks pretty sweet, and reflects FFX. So, I presume you want to read more?
