CHOBIT- According to Minoru a Chobit is a legendary persocom and are said to be artificial intelligences, capable of thinking and acting on their own. They are said to be very special as they have a bulit in programme therefore they can go on without an OS (operating system) function. In the manga & anime they say that Chii was a possible Chobit as they can not find her OS, however the other Chii (dark Chii) is another type of persocom who follows Chii's footsteps who is another possiblity of a Chobit.
PERSOCOM- A persocom is simply an interactive computer, which can walk and talk and take on a human form. Persocoms can do anything you progamme it to do e.g. word processing, you could also store in memories in a persocom or connect it to the internet. They appear in different sizes & shape and small persocoms are usually regarded as laptops, like Sumomo, as you can carry them around. Persocoms basicially look a lot like humans, in the manga the characters can be tell apart if they are human or persocom by thier ears or size, Persocoms usually have big pointed ears. Most Persocoms appear to be female, however there are a few male persocoms as well. Everyone wants their own persocom, however they appear to be very very expensive!!!!
OS- An OS is an operating system in a persocom. An OS must be programmed in a persocom in order for the persocom to move. You can download in the programme any memories, its like and dislikes etc.... |
