Other People, Places. And Terminology

People

Skills: Talking back to People, Being sarcastic, putting up with the clan leaders
Blood Type: B
Birthday: Unknown
Age: Unknown, possibly around two or three centuries

Dislikes: His job, waking up from a good nap.
Goal: To serve a master who is able to remember that they live on a cliff and not attempt to walk off of the edgeto serve a master who has an IQ that is greater than her/his little brothers age.
Comments: Poor Ichi, he was stuck with the saddest, most unrewarding job of them all. Being the mentor of the Suzaku Clan leader is a pretty hard job position. Its almost like taking care of a two year old. Unfortunately, he has to stick with it. His current whereabouts are unknown. Presumably, hes trying to look for Rika, so he can guide her in her impossible task.

Places

Amay
Just a normal city, population is 8 roughly 80,000. The city is quite idyllic, with plenty of cool parks, and nice hangouts. There also seems to be quite a lot of anime stores too. It is located around the California area or someplace like that area, weather wise.

Amay Public High School
AhAPHS, the home of the Amay Wombats. Sadly, most of the student population do not survive freshman year without gaining a few minor sprains or broken bones from the post sixth period rush. The student body is divided into two parts: the Student Council (Goon Squad), and the people who cower in front of the Goon Squad. No, really, the Student Council is made up of the most interesting people. Youll have to think Araiso High School Student Council Executive Committee, the anime by famed manga0ka of Saiyuki and Wild Adaptor.

Amay Preparatory
Amay Preparatory is made up of geniuses, and rich kids. You either get in with an IQ f 200+, or with a parental donation of $100,000. Pleasant place, isnt it? The kids at Amay wear uniforms, very cool uniforms, if I do say so myself. Their mascot is the Lion. No. Not the cowardly lion. Actually, Amay Prep kicks butt in sports and academics. The only team they cant beat is the APHS Anime Trivia Team, when the two compete in the annual Anime Trivia Bowl at Amay AnimeCon. Oh, theyre also afraid of the APHS Student Council.

Heavenly Dragon
Heavenly Dragon, owned by the Viernes Family, is the most expensive, most extravagant restaurant in the Amay area. The cheapest item on the menu costs $5.00, and thats the Cherry Coke. However, HD lives up to its hefty pricing, its serves, arguably the best food in the country. The interior design of the restaurant is modeled after a palace from Ancient China, only more hip, and better furnished. A live show is presented every day from eight oclock to twelve oclock PM. This usually features martial arts and award winning theater actors. Reservations: HIGHLY recommended. In other words, you most likely wont get in if you dont make one.
Valet Parking: Yes
Price Range: High
Service: Excellent
Dress: Formal

Kajin Temple
The Kajin Temple is the home of the Suzaku Clan Leader and his (or her) advisors, directors. Its not really a temple, just a magnificent palace structure. Its located in a hidden Tai Valley, surrounded by the Mountains of Skyor it would be, if PR were an RPG. Really, though, its a floating platform, with water running off of it. The palace/temple is located on top of the floating structure. It is surrounded by mountains, and is hidden, and bubbles of the Taitsuukun variety float about it. On a side note, it houses a vast archive of all known Master Chefs/ Wanna be Master Chefs in the known world. It also houses thousands of Martial Arts and Magic study scrolls. Hey, what can I say? Its magic. The Suzaku Clan is known for exhibitional cooking, which combines the martial and culinary arts.

Fuujin Temple
The FuujinTemple is the home of the Byakko Clan Leader and his (or her) advisors, directors. Again, it isnt really a temple. This temple is actually attached to a mountain. It looks like something out of a science fiction novel. Very cool looking actually. The main part of the temple is an observational tower, from which adjacent buildings (or spokes) lead to various parts of the building. Living quarters, teaching rooms, etc. This is the home of the collective Library of the Four Wind Clans. It occupies over half of the Temple. Because of bitter rivalry of Suzaku-Byakko-Soh Ryu versus Genbu, the ancient recipes that once were housed in the Dojin Temple were moved to Fuujin.

Suijin Temple
The Suijin Temple is the home of the Soh Ryu Clan Leader and his (or her) advisors, directors. Nope. Not a temple. The Suijin Temple is located on a pleasant coastline, and is the only one of the four temples that looks like a medieval castle. However, unlike its look-alikes, it has all the modern appliances, and is not cold, drafty, oricky. It is actually quite a cozy living place. Because of its superb location, it is an ideal vacationing spot. Rooms are rented out for fifty dollars a night. Seventy dollars for suites.

Dojin Temple
The Dojin Temple is the home of the Genbu Clan Leader and his (or her) advisors, directors. Still not a temple. Not much to be said about this place, except that its located in a salt cavern. Its said to be very beautiful. However, ever since the line of evil clan leaders took over, the place has become closed to outsiders. By the way, contrary to popular belief, not all Genbu clansmen are evil. Most of them are quite ordinary.

Terminology

Four Wind Clans
The Four Wind Clans are Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko, and Soh Ryu. These are the four major clans of the culinary world, or at least the strongest and largest four. They represent four out of the five elements of Chinese Myth: Fire, Earth, Wind (or Wood), and Water.
WOOD to FIRE to EARTH to METAL to WATER to WOOD
Suzaku: Fire, Phoenix, and the South
Soh Ryu: Water, Dragon, and the East
Byakko: Wind/Wood, Tiger, and the West
Genbu: Earth, Snake/Tortoise, and the North
And what of the Metal clan? Wellwell have to see about that, now wont we? PS: Kirin: Metal/Gold, Unicorn, and the Center

Pocky
Someone told me that they had no idea what the hell Pocky was. So heres an explanation. Pocky is a chocolate covered, biscuit stick thats manufactured by Glico. It also comes in milk, coconut, strawberry (my favorite), almond crunch, and various other flavors. It is HIGHLY addicting, and super good.

Pearl Milk Tea
Pearl Tea is a popular drink that originated in Taiwan in the 1990s (1995? I think I first had it in 1996). It is basically milk tea (which can be flavored with various things) that has little tapioca pearls in it. It is really REALLY good. So good, in fact, that I believe I have an addiction to it. You know, one where Ill start twitching if I dont drink it once a week.

Exhibitional Cooking
This is the type of cooking Rika practices. To be good at EC, you have to have had rigorous training in the martial and culinary arts. It can be compared to Teppanyaki cooking, only with more activity. Exhibitional Cooks usually use a weapon in the place of knives. Rika uses the katana.
