Process
Phase Two:
Upon completion of phase one, your group will meet and discuss any and all findings for each topic.  Your group will decide on which parts ideally fit the character you have created.  Working cooperatively, your group will then compile a background essay about your character.  Think of it as an intorduction to a biography of this person's life, but specifically, one point in their life.  This will include, among other things, gender, age, location in Greece, job description, diet, etc.  Please include as much detail as possible.  For details on evaluation of the background portion of this assignment, click here.

Phase Three:
Once you have complete the background essay, you will then move on to the journal entries.  During this specific time in your character's life, you will choose one week that you would like to expand upon.  What would a week be like?  What would he/she do in that time?  In seven consecutive days, what things may have occured?  These entried should, again, reflect as much detail as possible.  I do not want to see an entry that says, "got up, ate breakfast, went to work, ate lunch,
worked some more, went home, ate dinner, went to bed."
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  I want to know everything about their day.  What they did at work, what did they eat, did they attend any religious services, cultural activities, did they go shopping, etc?  Someone reading this should be able to live through the day with your character.  For details on the evaluation of the journal entry portion of this assignment,
