| Phase Four: Once your group has completed both the Background information and the journal entries, you wil then move on to the next part of this assignment. Using the information you created your character with, you will create a graphic representation of your character. Meaning, you will create a paper doll who looks as you think your character would, hair, clothes, etc. You will also draw a picture of one of two choices: 1)their home, or 2)their job. For details about the evaluation of this portion of the assignment, click here. And guess what: DETAILS COUNT! (as if you haven't heard that enough) Phase Five: You're almost there! Once you have finished all the phases, be ready to turn in all of your products. Before you do, however, each group will introduce their character to the class on the last day of this lesson. This part is pretty simple. Be prepared to give the character's name, age, where he/she lives and works. This part should be about 2 1/2 minutes in length, more or less. That's it, you're done! The next page is the rubric for evaluation of your products. |
