Don Louis Clement (son
of Charles Clement and Marguerite Neufaille) was born Abt. 1790 in Marseiles,
France, and died date unknown. He married Marianne George Stelly on
February 06, 1810 in Opelousas, Ch. V 1a P 196, daughter of George Jean
Stelly and Marie Barbe Miller. Source:

Alexandrine's GGrandfather,
Jean George Stelly came from Germany. He departed France from
the Port of L'Orient with his parients (Jean and Marguerite) aboard
the Vessel "La Saone" on January 24, 1721, for Louisiana.
(Now Mobile, Alabama). Jean George was the only one to survive.
His father, mother and sibling all died of the Black Pague. Jean
George was adopted by a friendly family and reared on The German Coast,
along the Mississippi River. Jean died on November 4, 1792.
