Articles - Food

OK, some of you have been posting questions on the clubs and newsgroups on how to raise Artemia to adulthood. I've tried once, and that was enough! =) I used baker's yeast, but the yield was so little I later decided to just pop down to the pet shop's to buy a pack of frozen brine shrimp, LOL. Just in case you're still interested, here's a nice link!

How to Raise Brine Shrimp to Adulthood - Hosted on The Krib

For general information regarding mass-production of brine shrimp and cysts, try visiting the Laboratory of Aquaculture and Artemia Reference Centre. Loads of info!

Brine Shrimp Direct - good resource for learning how to enrich your brine shrimp - quite a tedious process, so I always pass. =)

An article from LarvaTech: raising microworms and their background as well.

Another article by Dan Carson about raising microworms

A small piece from Petfish.net - this is quite a good website to visit!

"Culturing Microworms" - by Matt Lindenfelser

Plantedtank.com - an article about raising microworms etc and they also sell cultures.
