Last year, a one and a half year old girl was brought to the crisis center by the local police. Her name was Natasha. She was hungry, scared, weak, and poorly dressed.
At the time, she was being raised by her biological parents who were suffering from alcoholism. For one and a half months, we worked together with the local police to rehabilitate the family and reunite Natasha with her biological parents, but her parents did not respond to the work that was attempted and they abandoned her.
It was then decided by the local government that Natasha�s parents would lose their parental rights to their daughter.
Natasha�s life was very difficult, and she was now an orphan with living parents.
There was much effort put into finding relatives to care for Natasha, but this was also unsuccessful. Natasha�s aunt was contacted but refused to care for the girl.
Natasha was then taken in by a wonderful foster family. Her new family provides her with the care and love she needs and deserves. Natasha�s foster parents are now in the process of adopting her and Natasha is now thriving in her new family.
