I am engaged to Carlo (first name is actually William), and we have been together for three years now. This past summer he left teaching, with Orange County Public Schools, to become a web consultant in the corporate world. Carlo's son, David, is in college now and is living on his own. The only "children" that we have at home are our pets!
We have a 16 year old dog that is incredibly sweet, and we also have cats (all have updated vaccinations). We have found homes and opened our own to suffering animals that didn't have one. Each one has their own story, which I will post in the near future.
Carlo and I are vegetarians, mainly because of the cruelties that animals endure on factory farms, and also because it is the ideal diet if you want to avoid many diseases such as diabetes, cancer, or heart disease.
