1. Provide a forum to exchange ideas, information and concerns of Child and Youth Care professionals and matters
relating to the field.
2. Form liaisons with other Child and Youth Care Associations having similar interests and objectives for the
purpose of support, information gathering and exchange.
3. Encourage and provide high quality specialized training programs and workshops for Child and Youth Care
as professionals.
4. Improve and promote public understanding of Child and Youth Care as a profession.
5. Promote all of the above objectives through newsletters, professional workshops, committee work and
public meetings.
