Advocacy and Public Relations
The purpose of this committee is to identify and respond to current pertinent issues affecting
Child and Youth Care Workers in a timely fashion and to educate and inform the public about
the Association.
Education and Training
The purpose of this committee is to identify training needs of members to respond to these needs
through workshops and conferences, and to disseminate information on resources.
Membership and Member Services
The purpose of this committee is to recruit membership, to educate and familiarize members and
potential members about the Association, and to solicit services for members.
Newsletter
The newsletter is published three times a year. The purpose of the newsletter is to provide a
tangible link between members and the association, to provide a venue for other committees to
report their activities, and to keep members updated as to current trends in the field.
