The school has about 1,000 students and approximately 60 full- and part-time instructors, including those who teach foreign languages (French, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Korean, German, and English). Chigusa is labeled a "high academic school" and is considered among the best in the prefecture. It has two main divisions: General Course Division and the Intercultural Division. General Course students can choose a liberal-arts track or a science/math track; Intercultural Division students focus on ESL and international studies. |
