London is considered by many as Europe's skyscraper capital, along with Frankfurt.
The majority of London's skyscrapers have been built within the last few years. Before the completion of One Canada Square (1991), London had only one 'real skyscraper' (over 150m): the NatWest Tower (now Tower 42). However, now there are seven 150m+ skyscrapers (excluding the BT Tower), with more going up annually.
