Exciting new skyscraper developments in London
On this page are a selection of developments in London which are likely to begin construction fairly soon. None of the skyscrapers on this page are yet built, with the pictures being  renderings of what they should look like.
The Minerva Tower
At 216 metres, with 50 floors, this could become one of the city's tallest buldings, dominating the City (square mile).
Heron Tower/ 110 Bishopsgate
This tower, also set for The City, will complement the other two skyscrapers of th area, Swiss RE and Tower 42. Hopefully, work on the tower could commence next year, but we'll have to wait until the need for more office space picks up. This tower will be 183 metres, equalling the height of Tower 42.
Columbus Tower
The Columbus Tower, which will be located in Canary Wharf, could become London's tallest building, being slightly larger than One Canada Square (pictured in the middle of the photo at 237 metres. Columbus tower, as shown in the rendering above, will be to the left of the existing manin Canary Wharf towers.
London Bridge Tower

This could become not only London's, but Europe's tallest skyscraper.

Paddington Basin Redevelopment-
including The Grand Union Building
Richard Rogers, famous for designing London's Lloyd's building and the Millennium dome was asked to design a landmark tower for Paddington basin, as part of the general redevelopment of the area.
This tower is likely to get built, but only when the demand for office space picks up again, possibly some time next year.
What the 133 metre tall Union building will look like, dominating the basin development.
