Frankfurt Skyscrapers
Frankfurt, Germany, is often regarded as the skyscraper capital of Europe, because of its large impressive skyline, which within Europe only London and Paris can rival. It is the head financial centre for the Euro (currency), and is Europe's second largest financial centre after London.
The city today contains Europe's first and second tallest buildings (listed on the right).
Frankfurt is sometimes known as 'the most American city outside the USA', as well as 'Mainhatten', due to its location on the river Main.
