VIIth International Meeting on Cholinesterases November 8 -12 - 2002 - Pucon - Chile CALL FOR ABSTRACTS All participants (Invited Speakers and Poster Presentations) wishing to make a presentation are requested to submit an abstract to the Secretariat NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 27, 2002, together with their Registration Form and fees. The Organizing Committee will notify authors regarding Abstract acceptance and the form of presentation. Abstracts will be printed in the Program Book of the Meetingto be distributed to attendees on arrival. Abstracts should be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper as either one-half or a full page. Abstracts may be submitted by mail, Fax or E-mail to [email protected]. Submission by mail or fax requires concurrent mailing of a disk. Preparation of Abstracts Please submit two copies of your abstract together with an electronic versión (Macintosh or IBM format) on a 3.5 inch disk. The deadline for submission is September 27, 2002. Abstracts should contain either less than 250 (0.5 page) or 500 (one page) words. A single table may be included if its fits within the available space. Figures are not permitted. Please type your abstract in 12 point plain text-preferably Times New Roman- single line-spaced throughout. Define all abbreviations at first mention. Please use the following format for your abstract: The title should be in bold print, authors names in plain text (12 point)-preferably Times New Roman and single spaced. Please underline the name of the presenting author. Use italic characters for all Latin terms and clearly indicate any special characters such as Greek letters, primes and sub- and super-scripts. Please do not include footnotes. References: Please cite references in text as a sequential numbering system in paréntesis, e.g., (1), (2,3), (7-10), or Jones et al. (29) have shown...... Up to four references can be included in the full page abstract. Electronic submission: Please label your disk with the name of the first autor, and indicate Macintosh or IBM format, and the program name(s) and version(s). For text (including tables and references). Preferably use Word programs. Poster sessions Ample time will be allotted for poster viewing at both the plenary and concurrent sessions. Poster times will be assigned to each poster for both sessions but is the authors responsibility to transport them between locations. Poster board surfaces are 6 feet wide by 4 feet high. STUDENT FELLOWSHIP SUPPORT The Organizing Committee have provided student fellowships for partial or complete support of Hotel accomodation. Selections will be made by a subcommittee of the International Scientific Advisory Committee and require presentation of a poster.
