ART HISTORY 415G - Dr. Anna Brzyski
Music tends to have an influence on artists that may often go unnoticed or under-appreciated. I find that my musical tastes rub off on my art quite heavily as does the music that I, myself, create. Currently, I can play the guitar, cello, bass, and piano. I am also a decent singer and can play the drums, although I do not own a set (anymore). My musical tastes are somewhat broad but I am always drawn to talent and originality. That being said, more aggressive music will lead to more aggressive art, whereas blues and jazz may invoke a variety of styles upon my art. I have attempted to find correlations between these musical styles and the art they have helped me produce.
