- The speaker spoke about how he had met many brothers and sister that had been Christians at OCM for at least 10 years. The number certainly attests to the familiarity of spiritual kinship but the speaker nonetheless had a challenge for us: For as many years as you've been a Christian, how many times have you read through the entire Bible? Amazing how the responses were so few. As believers we should be more aware of the Truth we represent by delving more into His Word because our Lord has said, "Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will not pass away.

- The worship leader reminded us from a passage in 2 Samuel 24, that King David would not sacrifice to the Lord, his God burnt offerings that cost him nothing. We are reminded that coming into worship on Sundays is not about what we can get during the service, but about what we can give instead.

- Reverand Paul Siu spoke about how blessed are the merciful because they will be shown mercy. He quoted Robert Frost who believes that whether or not we have good or bad luck, at the end of the day, we all desire mercy. Mercy can be defined as leniency or not getting what's coming to us. At the end Reverand Siu challenged the congregation to evangelize through the act of mercy.

- Reverand DeVries spoke about how everything in the world was made by God and how Jesus Christ is the "cosmic glue". As he quoted someone who believes that "pollutants are just resources misplaced", the worship leader added that "sin is people out of place". Let us no longer live as people out of place but as redeemed creations.

- Today Rick Carey spoke on the Great Commission from Matthew 28:18-20. He had this quote to share: "Are we willing to be in debt for evangelism as much as we are in debt for our vacation to Hawaii?"
